Together,
for His Kingdom
We are a family of cooperating churches
The Canadian National Baptist Convention is a fellowship of more than a thousand churches stretched coast to coast, partnering together to plant new churches, send missionaries, train pastors, and make Jesus known in every corner of Canada and beyond.
We believe the local church is God’s primary vehicle for reaching the world — so we link arms, share resources, and pray together for a movement of disciple-making that outlasts us all.
Kingdom
Jesus’ Kingdom is our mission — the highest priority above every other.
Gospel
Jesus’ Gospel is our message — the best and most-needed news the world has ever heard.
Movement
Jesus’ movement is our mandate — disciple-making is the calling of every church, not an option.

It's not about us.
Not at all.
Jesus’ Kingdom is our Mission. Above all, the Kingdom of God is our highest priority. (Matthew 6:33)
Jesus’ Gospel is our Message. The wonderful story of God’s grace is our best and most-wanted news. (Luke 1:14-18)
Jesus’ Movement is our Mandate. Accepting Jesus’ assignment of disciple-making is not an optional activity for His Church. (Matthew 28:18-20)
So, with His Kingdom + Gospel + Movement squarely in our sights, we long for a day when every man, woman, boy and girl in Canada has multiple opportunities to see, hear and respond to the Good News of Jesus Christ. And to this end, our shared kingdom calling is to multiply gospel movements that discover, develop, and deploy disciple-making teams from within.
Therefore, believing that God’s primary vehicle for impacting the world with the Gospel is the local church, our family of interdependent churches voluntarily and sacrificially partner together to make Jesus known through the CNBC Cooperative Program.
Because, after all, it’s really not about us.
Together, for His Kingdom.
